1 NIGHT DESERT TOUR

Come and experience the wonders of the White and Black Deserts. If you want to experience both deserts but do not have a lot of time, this tour is for you.

During the tour you will see and experience the following:

  • Arrive at Oasis Camp. You will meet your guide and he will go over your itinerary for the day while you enjoy a traditional Egyptian lunch. Since the location is remote, travel can be arranged for convenience purposes. Additional price will apply. Private transmit includes A/C car to ensure comfortable travel.

  •    After introductions, you will travel to the White and Black Deserts. These deserts are vastly different and your guide will explain their biomes, geology, and environments. Be sure to bring your cameras, as there are many photo opportunities.

  • Camping in the White or Black Desert (subject to availability). After visiting both deserts, your guide will choose (based on discretion), which one to camp at for the night. Don’t worry, both provide the same starlight night shows, so you’re not missing out! Your guide will provide dinner  as you relax and settle in for the evening. Camping will take place on mattresses under the stars, a true camping experience to remember. Blanks and all basic accommodations will be provided by the host. If you wish, your guide can take you on a night walk, or you can just enjoy traditional Bedouin tea under the stars.

  • The duration and viewable sites are subject to scheduling, as sometimes military drills are conducted. Because of this, the guide does not guarantee that the old and new deserts will be visitable during your time. Please inquire closer to the date for more exact details.

The crystal is actually quartz, which can be found all over. Marvel at this geological foundation, but remember to take pictures and leave footprints.

  • Next, you will depart for Akapat Mountain and settle in for the first night. Enjoy a home cooked meal provided by your guide, share tea, and enjoy the starlit sky.

  • Visit the Roman Grotto. After, enjoy lunch.

  • After lunch, visit the old and new White Desert. There will be plenty of time for photo opportunities here. Listen to your guide explain the environment and answer any questions you have. Take your time, as you will be spending the night here. Enjoy another home cooked meal provided by your guide, enjoy traditional tea, and enjoy your last night until the desert sky. â€‹
